James Mosdell is Vice President of Acquisitions for Red Stone Equity Partners, LLC, where he is responsible for assisting in the acquisition, financial underwriting, partnership structuring, and syndication of affordable housing, historic, and tax credit investments. James has 14 years of experience in real estate investment and LIHTC syndication and has participated in the acquisition and syndication of more than $500 million in tax credit investments nationwide. James has worked with both non-profit and for-profit development firms and has structured a variety of property types including: new construction and rehabilitation/adaptive re-use projects, HOPE VI, Section 236, public housing, Rental Assistance Demonstration, mixed-income, mixed-use, and historic/state tax credits. Prior to joining Red Stone, James spent 12 years at two separate national tax credit syndication firms where he was responsible for the syndication of affordable housing tax credit investments.
James is a graduate of the University of Utah, where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning. James also received a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina with an emphasis in real estate finance and housing.
