Ryan Sfreddo is a Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Red Stone Equity Partners (Red Stone), where he leads the firm’s executive team in advancing RSEP’s mission and strategic objectives.  In his role, Ryan oversees the firm’s affordable housing business lines, with primary responsibility for acquisition and investment activities, strategic initiative execution, and client and partner relationships.  Ryan previously served as President of Red Stone beginning in January 2020, and earlier as Managing Director of Investor Relations.  He joined the firm in 2011, bringing deep experience across the tax credit investment lifecycle.  Prior to Red Stone, Ryan was a Managing Director at a national tax credit syndication firm, where he led its tax credit fund management business, overseeing the structuring, marketing, and closing of institutional tax credit investment funds.  During his 25+ year career, Ryan has played a leading role in raising more than $15 billion of institutional equity for tax credit investment funds. Earlier in his career, he focused on the acquisition of properties financed with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Historic Tax Credits (HTC), having directly participated in the closing of more than 200 real estate transactions representing over $1 billion of net equity investment.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, with concentrations in Finance and Pre-Medical Studies from Boston College.  He currently serves as Board Chair of the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition (AHTCC).
